about

"No Damage" is the new E.P for Darren Cross.

Post to Wire " Darren Cross has always come across as the real deal. As a songwriter he is now writing and recording under his own name and trading in authentic, alt-country that draws from the masters like Townes van Zandt and Steve Earle. Honesty, stark and raw emotiveness and an innate sense of melody".

The songs for the “No Damage"  E.P were written when Darren was flown over to Dj at an old Gerling fan Wedding in Atlanta last September- from there he travelled around Southern America on Greyhound buses for 5 weeks finding songs and memories along the way.

Influenced by Early Dylan, Neil Young ,Townes Van Zandt, John Prine and early Steve Earl.

Written, Recorded and Produced By Darren himself.

Mastered in Tasmania By Grammy Award Winner William Bowden (Tim Finn, The Church, Goyte , Jimmy Little).
